1. What can I donate?
A: We accept most vehicles including but not limited to cars, trucks, trailers, and RV's.
2. My car doesn't run. Can I still donate it?
A: Yes, we are able to accept most vehicles running or not. Your car, no matter what condition, will
still be able to generate much needed support towards your favorite charity. Please Call or email
you can also fill out the following form and fax it to 215-941-7509
3. What do I need to have to make my donation?
A: We would like the title to the vehicle.
4. How can I contact you to schedule a pick up?
A: Please send an e-mail with your name, address, phone number, and best time of day to reach you
to DonateCar@OveringtonHouse.org Or you can call during normal business hours to

5. How will my vehicle be picked up?
A: We will make arrangements to conveniently and quickly pick up your donation AT NO COST
TO YOU. In addition we will handle the title transfer requirements as well as providing you with
your tax donation receipt.
6. How long will it take for my vehicle to be picked up?
A: We will arrange for a towing company to contact you via telephone within 24 hours. If you need
your car picked up sooner, please call us for quicker services.
7. Is my donation tax deductible?
A: Overington House is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations both of cash and property
are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
8. How does my tax deduction work?
A: The IRS allows you, the taxpayer, to claim a tax deduction of (a) the value of your vehicle up to
$500 or (b) if we sell the vehicle for more than $500 we will mail you a postcard with that value for
your tax purposes.

in which the IRS requires you to determine the value of your donated property. For more information,
